LT+3.0 Release Date Confirmed: Christmas Eve

The man himself, c4eva, confirmed that LT+3.0 for BenQ and Phat Lite-On drives will be released on Christmas Eve. There is still no ETA for Hitachi 78/79 drives or slim drives, but the good thing is that most of you, (except for me, I have a slim), have a Lite-On or BenQ.

As you all know, LT+3.0 takes care of the silent updates that Microsoft has been able to do. Because of the new topology required in XGD3 and AP2.5 games, these games WILL NEED to be REBURNED. Though once they are reburned, there is a 99% chance that you will never need to get another reburn again (unless you break your current copy). Because physical disks do cost money, and it is time consuming to reburn games, there will be a charge for reburns. They WILL NOT be the original price that you bought them for. I will announce how much reburns will cost in a later post, expect it before the release of LT+3.0

In regards to the burning software, it might come out with LT+3.0 or at a later date. ABGX360 is still in heavy development, so expect that within the next month or so. Whenever the new burning software is released, I will be able to make new reburns, and I will notify you of when that happens. The best thing to do now is gather a list of the XGD3 games and AP2.5 games that you have purchased FROM ME. Make sure that you keep the current back-up you have now, because I will request those back in exchange for the new ones. I will be burning the new back-ups on a first come first serve basis.

Also, since there are a lot of you, I will need for you all to schedule appointments for when you want your Xbox 360 updated to LT+3.0. I am available on weekdays from 6pm to 10pm and am flexible on weekends. Please text me the time that works best with you and I will try my best to schedule you for that time.

Remember, if you did not purchase the Unlimited Updates you will need to pay another $30 for this update. For some of you, your Unlimited Updates will expire soon, so if you want to renew it for another year, it'll be $60. If you want to take advantage of your Unlimited Updates before it expires, please schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

So to re-cap, here are the things you need to do before LT+3.0 release.

1.) Check to see if you purchased Unlimited Updates and when it expires. If you did not, you will need to pay another $30 for this update.
2.) Schedule an appointment for update, for those with Unlimited Updates, it'd be wise to do it before it expires.
3.) Collect a list of XGD3 and AP2.5 enabled games. Make sure you have the physical back-ups that you purchased from me, I will be requiring those. Send me the list in a text, or email at rsantiagot@comcast.net, with your name and phone number.

F.Y.I., here is the original post from www.c4evaspeaks.com:
With the final testing stage of BenQ and phat Lite-On underway in preparation for the scheduled Christmas Eve release of c4eva’s iXtreme LT+ v3.0, we thought we’d drop some additional bits of info into your Stockings in the form of answers to some recent questions.
Version 3.0 of iXtreme LT+ for BenQ and Lite-On (both phat and slim) does in fact retain support for truncated backups, although it is strongly recommended to use full burns made with a compatible Lite-On iHAS drive flashed with the iXtreme Burner MAX fw. Support for truncated backups, however, remains excluded from Hitachi in its forthcoming 3.0 version.
While abgx360 v1.0.6 remains in progress, the new version of Xbox Backup Creator can be used temporarily as an alternative for injecting the necessary new AP25 topology data files into existing backup ISOs. XBC doesn’t perform the same degree of validation of topology data files, and provides no means to verify their authenticity or correctness, so be very cautious if using files from unknown sources until abgx360 is released. In addition to extracting/injecting AP25 topology data files, the new XBC also works with the existing 0800 v3.0 ripping firmware to dump backup ISOs that include proper topology data from original game discs. At the time of writing, it has yet to be definitively determined whether the new XBC will be released alongside LT v3.0, or if it will be released later. The new abgx360 is still under heavy development, and will release in due time.
Recently, there have been some rumors and bogus info spread by a sad individual that is attempting to trick and confuse people with fake release dates, false info, bogus IRC channels and Facebook accounts (note: we don’t post on Facebook, only Twitter), and mislabeling things as “official” when they are in fact not. We’d like to remind users that the only official sources for news and info from c4eva and the team are here at c4evaSpeaks.com, the #c4e channel on EFNet IRC, the Team-Xecuter, JungleFlasher, and abgx360 websites, as well as reliable news outlets such as Xbox-Scene. Be wary of news or information from other outlets that don’t cite the official #c4e IRC channel or one of the aforementioned sites as the original source.
